Vendor Application for OCTOBER 4th & 5th, 2025
If you sell vintage or antique clothing/access0ries, jewelry, books, records, furniture, textiles, art, or home decor, we’d love for you to apply to vend at Little City Thrifty at WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, RI!
Our goal is to create an eclectic, balanced, unique, and diverse event, and we bring in new (to us) businesses at every event. Please understand that we receive hundreds of applicants for this curated event and we will review and respond to all who apply, but we cannot guarantee acceptance, even for vendors who have participated in the past. If you are not selected, it is most likely due to the fact that we do not have the space to include all of the amazing businesses that we’d like to. We cannot accept makers, artists, or sellers of other non-vintage items at this event.
Please read all of the event information below before applying, as well as the Vendor FAQS, to determine if applying for Little City Thrifty is right for your business.
Little City Thrifty will take place at WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street in Providence, RI on October 4th & 5th, 2025.
This is a two-day event and all vendors must commit to participating for both days.
The event will run from 11am to 6pm each day. Load-in starts at 8am on Saturday (with an optional Friday night load-in) and vendors must be on site and setting up by 9 am. If you arrive late, you will lose your spot.
This is an indoor-only event and will be held rain or shine.
This event is strictly for vintage and antique vendors. Please do not apply if you do not fit into this category or if you plan to bring non-vintage items, such as crafts, crystals, and homemade items. This includes vintage-style or retro-style items that are not vintage, or new clothing made to look old. Upcycled items are occasionally permitted at LCT, if they are part of a vintage-based display. We do not accept vendors who sell only upcycled items.
The vendor fee for the weekend is $275 for a single booth (8’x7’) and $550 for a double (16’x7’). If you are selected. This fee is non-refundable/transferable and booths are not shareable.
Please note that very few double booths are available and you may only be accepted for a single booth.
Table rentals are available at $15/table.
Up to two chairs can be rented for $5/ea.
Vendors are allowed to leave their displays intact overnight.
Parking is free and plentiful at WaterFire Arts Center, but we do not recommend leaving your vehicle overnight at the venue.
Little City Thrifty abides by all Rhode Island permitting requirements. All accepted vendors must have a Rhode Island Retail Sales Permit. If you are a Rhode Island business who already has one, great! If you are an out of state business OR a Rhode Island business who does not have a Retail Sales Permit, don’t fret! Obtaining a temporary permit is an easy process and we’re here to walk you through it.
No tents, balloons, confetti, open flames, deep frying, propane are allowed inside the WaterFire Arts Center. In most cases the use of Sterno can be approved, but must be discussed in advance.
Products that contain cannabis or cannabis byproducts such as CBD and THC are not allowed at this event due to insurance stipulations.
Service dogs that are trained to work or perform a task for persons with disabilities are welcome. Comfort, therapy, and emotional support animals are not service animals and are not recognized by the ADA, and are not allowed, per our insurance regulations and venue restrictions.
There is limited space reserved for food/beverage vendors - please feel free to reach out with questions if you’re a food/beverage vendor. The fee for restaurants and food pop-ups is $400 for a single booth and includes up to 40A of electricity. All accepted food and beverage vendors must supply a Certificate of Insurance and a valid license from the Rhode Island Department of Health. If you’re an out of state food or beverage vendor, we will guide you through the process of obtaining a temporary permit from the Department of Health for the event. This event is fully compostable, and all food and beverage vendors must use fully compostable materials when serving.
We partner with exclusive beverage partners for each event. If you’re an alcohol OR non-alcohol beverage brand interested in sponsoring the event, please fill out our sponsorship form HERE.
